Sweet South Carolina ba ba ba ;)

I finally made it to South Carolina!!

Sorry this email is late. It was Labor day last week so the computer was closed but that's ok now we are back at it and ready to go!!

I left the MTC on the 1st and had to give the hardest goodbye of my whole life to my MTC district. I have been with em for a long time now and they were literally all of my family! I miss em everyday but I know that we are doing the right thing no matter how hard it hurts!! I love them so much and HAWAII 24 is our reunion plan.

Anyway I got on the bus from the MTC to the airport at about 4am and then got on the plane at 8am and flew 6 hours (six hours because of the time change) to Atlanta then had to get on another plane to get to South Carolina. Got off the plane and met my mission president and his wife President and Sister Monson. Then off i went to the mission home spent the night there with all my people i flew in with then the real story began on the 2nd

The next day I woke up at 6:30 :/ and then got some nice food and then had a training session with President Monson then headed right to the church building in Irma to find out who my TRAINERS were going to be. We sat down and Monson gave us his two senses then he called us up one by one to our trainers which mine happen to be the best trainers i could have ever asked for in ELDER MCCONKIE and ELDER NEELEY. They are the ZL's for the mission so I have now become their little baby boy :0. Then we finally got some real food, not MTC GARBAGE, which was nice. Then we went right into teaching. Talk about getting thrown off the deep end lol.

Friday My trainers had to go to MLC so I went on my first exchange with ELDER KINGSFORD & ELDER FERRIN. We had a blast taking some banger pics of ya boi and plus got to knock on ten doors with no answers but through the spirit of the lord we were able to find someone that we were able to get their phone number and start teaching.

Saturday was my first official day as a missionary with my real comps. We got up and planned out our day using this app called area book and through the spirit we were able to find someone that was in need of a blessing which was really cool in being able to see the hand of the lord in my life and as well as the life of other people.

Sunday I met the ward and fasted for the first time in a while and it was awesome we were able to learn about the lord and teach the Jones family and celebrate my comp's bday which was really cool.

Monday was my first pday in the mission. We played disc golf and then went to a dinner with President Newhouse who is literally my favorite. He is literally my mission Grandpa. We talked about motorcycles and had the best meal I've had: New York Strip Steak and Balsamic Chicken with corn and salad. Then we had a hour long discussion about the savior and how the atonement helps us every day. Taught em and then left. It was one of my favorite moments of the week so far.

Tuesday we were able to plan out our day again and go visit people. What i have found is that the lord sent me here for a reason everyone here loves the missionaries and loves to hear what they have to say and the spirit of the lord is so strong that I can literally feel it all day long its great. WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO INVITE SOMEONE TO BAPTISM AND THEY SAID YES. Her name is Lee and she is the sweetest person I know. She loves to take care of others, especially anyone in her family and she was able to change my life as well as my comps so wish me luck with that.

Wednesday we are in for another long day of work. We have two lessons today which means that we are back at it again with the spirit of the lord. Today probably was a hard day but the best in the same my comps and I were able to give blessings to a family in need and to help give them peace with the death of their son and we hope that they can feel better anyway today I learned how through faith that we can be saved and the lord knows all things so ask in faith and ye shall receive

Thursday we were able to minister to our friends and teach a lesson to the Homer's and learned more about the gospel. MIND BLOWN!!! Anyway the food that I have received for dinner over these last 2 weeks has been mind blowin

Friday was just more of the same we had to go to the doctor and also get some lessons in with people and just finding ways to grow with one another and spread the gospel

Saturday was the best day of the week. We had a ward cook off and the food was exceptional. I have never had this many ribs in my life!! We were also able to see the growth of a Part Member family. PMF Family work is the majority of what we do round here. And Found out there are my kind here UTAH FANS down south BABY!!! Also found out we won 73-7 so that made my day

Sunday finally starting to feel adjusted to the weather and the time change! It has been raining buckets all week but that hasn't stopped us once! I love it down here and it's the best place on the planet

Today, Monday I'm currently sitting in a chair in an internet Cafe at my apartment complex! Life has come a long way from an iPhone to a Samsuck but they're in opposition in all good things!

Spiritual thought: D&C 84 87-89

87 Behold, I send you out to reprove the world of all their unrighteous deeds, and to teach them of a judgment which is to come.

88 And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up.

89 Whoso receiveth you receiveth me; and the same will feed you, and clothe you, and give you money.

This scripture I found in my personal study and I thought that it would be the best thing that I could share with y'all. The number one thing I love about this gospel is when I get a moment to testify about the lord! I know that God lives and not just that he lives but that he sent his son to die so that we can live and that he and his atonement is real and the power that comes from that is something that I have never felt before. I love how much this gospel brings true and everlasting joy and that I know that this scripture and

I love you all especially district 25 b, my comps and my whole mission but most importantly I know that god loves me enough to watch over us always!!

Till next time this is your friendly neighborhood UTE fan saying, GO UTES!!!

I'll see y'all in the next one
