Week 17 Second Hand Smoke & Christ’s Yoke

Now that im finally done saying sorry for the short emails!! We are back to our regular scheduled programing this week so letz get it boi! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Oh yeah baby LETS GO!! UTAH IS VEGAS BORN & VEGAS BOUND BABY AND WE ARE GONNA GO POUND FOR POUND THIS WEEK!! Let's get ittttttt! 

Tuesday: we started of sluggish but we were able to shake it off and work through it! Our area is so massive that it takes us 45 to an hour just to get back home! We were able to find some people when I first got here and we are going back to teach them soon! Now that I'm out here on my own! I have seen god in all the little details of life! It's amazing! 

Wedsnday: man talk about being tried! That's ya boi but hey obedience is key baby!! So just grinded today! I fifnally felt like a European elder who just walks and knocked doors because that is about all that we did today (my love goes out to all of yall though because it takes an elect mind and an even greater heart and a big desire to serve out there! I love yall just as much as everyone) except we get a car but not just any car! We are the lucky missionaries and we have a FREAKING TRUCK!! LETS GO BABY! We call our truck Bronco!! Since he is a son of a Bronco!! (You should know who im talking about) then we had a ward coordination and literally they are so serious about missionary work It's kinda insane!! so we gonna be poppin off down here!! We had a tough day but we are good and ready to rock and roll baby!! 

Thursday: We had a pimpy day today! We were able to do a lot of contacting which is good and we were able to meet and see a lot of people! We are getting ready for 2 baptisms in the branch and it's gonna be lit! We also put our friend Essie on date!! LETS FREAKING GOOOO!!! Also got a tough picture of ya boi and Bronco!! So let's go!! I saw god through confidence in the spirit and really just setting my will aside and letting him do the heavy lifting! We also gave out a bom to our friend Rodney! So it was just a fire day all around!

 

Friday: we had a lit day! We had a banger zcm where ya boi practicly came up with the theme for the transfer! So that way hype conway is the promise land and we are for sure getting work done down here we had shianne get her baptism interview done today and I have never seen someone more elect in my life then her at 16 years old get ready to be baptised!! Man I love this job!! I sqe god today though the miracles of giving a part of myself to God though dedicated planning for our people we taught today! It was so cool! 

Saturday: we had a fantastic day! I have been praying every night and everyday to have the spirit of the lord with me in all that I do since I have been trying my best to be the best missionary I can be! At ZCM we had a potentials board of all the people that we are going to put on date and on that list we had no PMF's that we can teach! So I went to work praying and wishing that we can find something to do! Today we were just driving around doing some work and then I got a prompting to go visit this less active guy his name is Brother Thomas Foresberry! So we drove over to the house and we got out and went up to the door and the spirit whispered to me that this is the house and we knocked and no one answered! So I left feeling sad then we heard Thomas yell at us to come back and we legit made a be line for em and he came back out and he just started talking to us and stuff he told us that he got sick and that no one had reached out to him and he felt hopeless and unmotivated to do any work at all! Then we got to talking and he said that he wants to get back to church and that he is going to get back to us on that and he just kept talking and this is the answer to my prayers! He told that about a year and a half ago he had a dream that two people dressed in black coats and white shirts and ties came and knocked on his door and that he didnt make it in time for them when they knocked so he went outside and talked to em to come back and so he did and he said that they were angles sent from God to come save him and to get him back to church! As soon as he told us that my heart sank and I felt the spirit flood over me like a rock and say this is my son and he is lost! Teach him and fix him up for me! Then I will give you something so great you won't even understand! So that's what we did and then he kept talking to us and he said that his son was baptised at 18 and then has fell away but he is married and that he is yearning for the day that his grandson can get bapstied! Then the spirit told me there you go and I litteraly wanted to cry! Because in my last and my final hour of need like lightning In a summer storm boom christ reached out with his plused palms and his bashed wrists and save me out of the depths of hell so I could be a missionary to teach and preach the gospel! To clam truth to the captives and be as free as I've ever been all just to help people come closer to the truth because they know not where to find it! It is my testimony this day that if you ever think that god doesn't know you! Doesn't love you! Or doesn't even care for you! Then you are WRONG! He sent his son into the world to save it and bring fourth light and truth into a world full of darkness! It is my testimony that he loves you he does know you and he does care about you! I litteraly just witnessed it today! I know for a fact that god lives and that he wants all of his children to go fourth with faith and live as he is free, loving, and peaceful! So weather that is reading the book of mormon for the first time or maybe seeking some help from loved ones for maybe even church leaders or just saying sorry! Do it because the lord wants all of his children to come back to him because the greatest gift he gave us this Christmas is the atonement of the lord Jesus Christ! This is the lords promise to those who are struggling with that belief  in the book of moron in ether 12:4 reads! Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God. Christ loved and still loves all of his children so this is my calling my duty and my obligation and I will not rest until the song of redeeming love is song to every soul in this world! MY MISSION MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME! This is my call and this is hope "and now o my son (Elder Thomas or put your name) ye are called of god to preach the word unto this people and now my son go thy way declare the word with truth and soberness that thou mayest bring souls unto repentance that the great plan of mercy may have claim upon them! And may God grant unto you even according to my words Amen." (Alma 42:31) Salvation is not a cheap experience! I came on a mission prepared to walk an ounce of what the savior went through good or bad, happy or sad, heart broken and devastated exhausted and casted out I still do not regret for one second the choice I made! I'm in an area that hasn't had a baptism in almost 2 years everyone is old and they are stuck in their ways but none the less the lord called me to serve here and to help all of his children come back to him weather they want it or not! As one of his set apart missionaries and a disciple of the lord Jesus Christ I leave you with my witness that he lives and he loves those who spate upon him condemned him to trial and crucified him so this Christmas season let's all give a gift to christ who's atoning blood showed us all that it is possible that justice, love, and mercy met on that night in the garden! so others like my friend Thomas has a 2nd chance at receiving salvation! In the sacred name of our resurrected lord and savior in the name of Jesus Christ Amen. 

Spiritual thought: Luke 2:10-12

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

   

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

   

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

This transfer falls right during Christmas so this Christmas season we as my zone in conway have decided to give gifts of christ this transfer and we based this theme of this scripture! This scripture proves to all the world that Jesus is the Savior and that he is foundational to the bringing forth of salvation to our souls! So this Christmas season try to find someone someone you can help give some of that salvation to! I can promise you as you do so christ will be with you and you will have no reason to fear! The sun is shining directly on me  in my apartment window as I am writing this email! The sprirt told me that I'm wear I'm meant to be man I love this job! This last week has been a litte rough as you can see from my day on Saturday but none the less the lord gave us things that he knows that we can handle! I could of never imagined the love and the peace that has come from me being on a mission but I love yall! I pray for ya everynight to be someone better then yall are all before! So does God! He wants back he wants us to be better and he wants us to learn of him so we can want to come back to him! Don't just take my word for it! Take Gods!! I love yall and BACK TO BACK PAC 12 CHIPS FOR YA BOI! ON TO PASADENA AND WEEK 18 OF MY MISSON! ILL SEE YALL THEN!!
