Week 21 Old Endings & New Beginnings

Yo yo yo its ya boi back at again with another email! We got a tun of stuff this week thrown at us i barley had enough time to write! Anyway lets get it!

Tuesday: we had a banger DCM where my comp and i we gave a fire plan of salvation roleplay lesson! Then after that we went and knocked on a couple doors and then we had a member meal and just a pretty chill day

Wednesday: we had an aight day my comp and i are not sick but the aftermath of being sick is still with us and we felt that today! But none the less the lord provided us with a lesson with our friend thomas and we are trying to teach his family! Then after that we had another lesson and then some more doors then we went home and i collapsed and passed out in bed at 9:30 so pretty good!

Thursday: SPANISH EXCHANGES!! Ya boi had the privilege of going to work with the spanish elders this week it was so lit! We got to do english class and we had the time of our lives in there of course i didn't understand anything but we still had fun!

Friday: went back home and just went back to work and we had a good day every one of our lessons canceled so we just knocked doors and then drove home it was pretty cool!

Saturday: was just more of the same! We had a good time at our member meal with this old couple and had some interesting people that opened the door and other then that it was pretty cool!

Spiritual Thought: this week we were at a member meal and someone asked me Elder Thomas, if you had no bapstims on your mission, would you consider your mission worth it? I sat there for a minute and pondered that question. Then the thought came to my mind of my cousin in England and I put myself in his shoes and then the lord entered my mind and what happened next was only the stuff of legend! I looked at the lady and said no my mission would not be for nothing if I had no bapstims! She said how come? I replied because the spiritual growth that I've seen in myself has been more than I've ever deserved! I've over the time I have been a missionary my understanding of the gospel has grown my love for my fellow men has grown but most importantly my love for my calling and for my savior have grown as well! Then the thought came next in D&C 18:15 we read "and if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people and bring save one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy in the kingdom of my father". My dear friends that one soul can mean a variety of things but what it means to me is us or me or you! One soul to God is ourselves! One soul is a child of God One soul is a believer one soul is a disciple of the lord Jesus Christ! That one soul has a place being prepared in the mansions of heaven and has a place at the right hand of God! It is my testimony and my witness that God lives that he sent his son Jesus Christ into the world to cleanse it of all wickedness and to bring forth righteousness for all the world to see! And we learn all of this through this simple truth! John 3:16 "for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"! Everlasting life! That is what comes when we bring ourselves into the kingdom of heaven! That one soul the gospel of jesus christ is all about bringing that one soul or that one child of god back into his presence and be touched my his arms and embraced by his loving and tender care! It's my testimony that he knows us that he loves us and that through the atonement of jesus christ he has the power to save us all! Of this i can earnestly testify in the name of Jesus Christ Amen!
