Week 29 Long Halls & Dry Walls

Dagum dude, another one these fetchen emails is in the books! Man I'm old haha anyway this week has been so good! And so long haha! But we got a lot to get into so let's get it.

Tuesday: we had a good day so my comp and I are coming up with plans to help this area out a lot and one of those is we have so many fetchin yellow dots or media referrals it's insane! So we spent all day knockin yellow doors which is a different bread of knockin doors hahah

Wednesday: we had our zone conference and it was legit! Our mission presidents wife gave us a training and then so did our mission president and the spirit hit so hard it was ridiculous! Then we yeettted it home and just swooped in time to make it to our ward cord which was fun! Lol

Thursday: THE DAY WAS SO FREAKING SLOW DUDE! I WAS LIKE AINT NO FETCHIN WAY ALLDAY! Anyway we knocked a lot of member doors because I wanted Elder Armstrong to know the area which we are getting there but it just feels like it's coming along slowly but we just had an amazing miracle so the Southport missionaries found this 17 year old who is our next baptism and he lives in our area so we are going to meet him at the church soon and do a church tour have em come to church then he said he wants to get baptised!!!! So we are gonna work on it! LETS GOOOOOO! MAN I LOVE THIS JOB!!

Friday: we had an amazing day! We had a grind day bro it was so good though we have found so much joy through the work this week it has been insane! Our boy Jacob is moving closer towards baptism and is progressing more then ever and we are continuing to do all that we can for tabor city we are just hoping that we can continue to have miracles with them our boy levon reached out to us today and he wants to come back to church again and be back in the branch and help them out big time so we will see the days are just chugging along now but we are grinding and I'm so grateful for it!! AHHHHH LETS GOOOOOO

Saturday: yes sah we had a good day! We had a good lesson with our friend Jacob and he is 17 and looking for answers to some of life's deepest questions so we taught a banger POS lesson and answered some of those questions so we will see how he goes! Then we went by and saw some other people and knocked some doors lot of driving but it's all good we try our best to stay with in an area either all day or for a while so we can get the most done that we can do! Then we had a good dinner at the bridges and then went home and called a fat tone of peeps so it was chill

Sunday: looking like it's gonna be another one of those days haha we will see! So today was one of the most powerful days of my mission the day started off as crap but ended with the power of god we were at a member meal and this family has been through a lot of hard times in the last few months and they love having us so we had a fire low country broil and then we had some great talks which then led to a lesson that will go down in my mission as the best lesson I've had in a long time we read mosiah 3 7-11 and talked about the atonement that after I read the scripture the spirit hit like a freight train and for 30 mins we had a fast and testimony meeting and we all just poured our hearts out and cried together and then when all was set and done we felt so relieved the power of God is real and the power that missionaries can bring in a home is ridiculous! I love this job and I love the lord

Spiritual thought:
My dear friends such a need for a redeemer do we, In John 3: 16 we find this specific phrase! For god SO LOVED the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life! Such need for a redeemer do we need! This week has been so full of miracles that I've literally lost count of just how much I've seen the lords hand in my life! He has been there in every step in every need in every situation! He is always there! He promises us faithful missionaries in D&C 84 87-88 "Behold I will send you out to reprove the world of all their unrighteous deeds and to teach them of a judgment which is to come and whoso receiveth you there I will be also for I will go before your face I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts and mine angels round about you to bear you up". I can truly witness and testify with my whole heart that god lives and that he chose his son Jesus christ over all of his other children to come down from heaven to save us all! For he was born to a mortal mother which made him subject to death but he came from an immortal sire who gave his son power from on high the same power as his father to give his life "Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.” And further: “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” Only such a One could conquer death; in none but Jesus the Christ was realized this requisite condition of a Redeemer of the world". My dear friends with this I close I know that Jesus is the christ the almighty son of the one and true living God who has sent me his son Elder Thomas into a world that is broken to help him in his mission to bring souls unto repentance and claim truth to the captives! For all of us fall short of the glory of God which he knew so that's why he sent his son! "And moreover, I say unto you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent". (Mosiah 3:17) my dear friends all of us can meet God's high expectations for all of us need the Saviors mediations for we are all sinners and believers in Christ and of these things I testify in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
