Tuesday: man we had a long day! We had our 2nd to last DCM of the transfer and it was a good one! We did some things and talked about our successes and some set backs that we are facing then we came together and found some solutions to help us out a little bit! Then we had our teaching roleplay which is where each companionship takes turns teaching and then we do a feedback section after! It's pretty lit! So we did that then had some good lunch! Then left to go to another lunch lol! Man gotta love being fed hahah! Anyway then after that we didn't have a lot of time but we made time with what we got and knocked some doors then called it a night!
Wednesday: Man this is one of my favorite times of the week! We stared out the day going to lunch with one of our dear friends Sister Moller! She is awesome and she is from Colorado!! So even better but anyway we then went and got some frozen yogurt and thats was bussin then after that we headed over to our lesson and then another lessons then to McDonald's to meet up with the MAN, the MYTH, the LEGEND, Brother Rick Watson! This guy is built different then the rest of us put together! He calls his truck Tow mater because it has so much rust that it makes him the world's best forwards driver lol! He also is a Vietnam veteran and is very funny guy and never takes no for an answer like someone I know. He is our ward mission leader and man he is awesome! Then after dinner we headed to the church and discussed what we can do as missionaries to help the ward in Shallotte become better! It was legit then headed home packed and I headed out to Myrtle Beach all day Thursday!
Thursday: Finally made it back to Myrtle Beach with Elder Wilhelmsen! And man did we have a time! We did about everything that we could do in Myrtle Beach! We started with a fire lesson in the park with a lady named Jamama! She is from Greece and is reading the bom is Greek! Pretty sick! Anyway then after that we jetted home to study and get some Subway! Then we hoped on a call with all the Spanish in the mission ans I read some verses of the bom in Spanish and it made me wanna be a Spanish elder haha! Anyway then after that we went out on the town and knocked some doors, then we had a lesson with a PMF then another lesson and another then another then went to a trailer park and knocked some doors and invited a person to church it was lit! Then had some KFC and my new favorite flavor of Mt Dew! SWEET LIGHTNING!! Then we went and had a lesson with our boy Shemar! Basically it was me and him and we talked for an hour and a half about god and all the things that he needed he just kept asking questions and so I responded and by the time we finished I had taught him all 3 lessons in an hour and half lol the spirit is something that I can't even understand sometimes lol but man was it en fuego (means fire in Spanish)! Then we exchanged back!
Friday: we had a good day! I had to sit in a meeting called ZLC which was really good we had a bunch of ideas on what we can do to help our missionaries come unto christ and help them better the people they are teaching! So it was good then we had to jet up to tabor city to go to lunch! Then went back to shallotte for our lesson with Jacob! Then we went and knocked some doors then after that we had dinner at our other friends house the Burnhams and they are wonderful! The husband has been a member his whole life and we are working on the wife haha she is a catholic and is firm in her belief but we just testified of christ and it was really cool to see the spirit work on her! Then after that we left and I crashed in bed!
Saturday: much of the same! We had the opportunity to do service for another PMF the Neilsons we laid mulch for about 3 hours then had breakfast for lunch! It was legit! The wife is a member and the husband isn't but they are both from Boston and have a thick accent! It was pretty sick! Then after that we went home and planned out what we needed to do for the day then we had dinner at another PMF house the Woods and they are the best! Had 4 Dr pepper cans then shotgun 2 more it was awesome! Man then we had some cake and some really good steak! Then after that we went home and I was in a coma so passed out!
Sunday: we went to church, talked to some people and then went to a member meal then had to do some paperwork! all good things
Hebrews 12:1-2
1 wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us
2 looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and is set won at the right hand of the throne of god
Sometimes we have to go through the race before it even starts, we have to find something that we can do in order to help prepare us for the rough ride ahead! Well luckily for us god sent his son Jesus Christ to do that for us so we don't have to! He endured the cross and rose from the dead to give us eternal life! so believe in him with all you've got and watch him work wonders in your life and the life of others! this is my testimony that as we strive with all our heart, might mind and strength, that we can stand blameless before God on the last day! And of these things I testify in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
