Spiritual thought Alma 11:40
40 And he shall come into the world to redeem his people; and he shall take upon him the transgressions of those who believe on his name; and these are they that shall have eternal life, and salvation cometh to none else.
You know as missionaries, we study, we ponder and we pray about all kinds of things! Like where do we need to go? Is this the right place? Are we doing the right thing? Etc. But often we find ourselves in the middle of the kaos and the whirlwinds of life! Most of the time we know what we are doing or we at least think we do but the fact of the matter is this! Our soul purpose is to invite others to come unto christ, to help lift and strengthen all people no matter who they are where they have been or where ever they are going our purpose still remains the same! Because after all that's been said the greatest duty that we have in this life is fo preach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! But teach what exactly? We could teach about joseph smith and the book of mormon, we could teach about the plan of salvation or God's plan for his children, we could teach about church and why we need to go, we could tell them all sorts of things! But the one thing that God cares more about is one's personal conversion to his son Jesus Christ! Which is why we teach our friends about faith in the lord Jesus Christ, his atonement, Repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end! Mt dearly beloved friends! It's my hope and my prayer that as we go about this week with a little more respect and grace for this is the week in which our dear savior Jesus Christ was Captured, Slain, and crucified for every sin, every sorrow, every pain, and every affliction of the human soul! So the best thing that we can do as fellow disciples is to read about him pray with him and be patient and wait for HIM to work miracles and move mountains in your life or the lives of those we love! The apostle Peter one taught this in 2 Peter 1: 13-15
13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
Please remember the lord your God in all that you do for as the same purpose at Peter one of my many roles as a missionary is to help people remember who they really are and what they need to do to either stay on the strait and narrow or come back to the path that has been set before us! My dear friends! It's my witness and my testimony set apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that as we choose to take care of the lord first and our him first then he will take care of the rest! I know that God lives, that Jesus is the Christ that he died so others can live! That president Russell M Nelson is a living prophet here on the earth today and through Christ's atonement all mankind can have the chance to rise up above this world and have the chance for peace and eternal rest in the life to come! I love yall so much and these things have been heavy on my mind! But I hope with all of my heart that yall can find a way this week to come closer to Christ and to be perfected in him because perfection never comes unless we are first perfected in Christ! I say these things in the name of the one who laid down his own life so others can live even Jesus Christ amen!
