Week 84 LDSers & Ole Yelers

Yo what's good!! How yall doin? It's yalls favorite Elder back at it again with another BANGER this week! So let's get er done! 


hey yall im sorry for the lack of shortness in these emails i promise i aint trunked or i don't care about the work! yall know exactly how i feel about my mission it's just the work has its ups and has its downs! so this email is gonna be longer so yall can read it haha! 


this week has been so gas! And this upcoming one is going to be better! starting off the week we had to clean our whole apartment and our fridge and go get some groceries! then after we proceeded to knock 50 doors and we got only 2 people to answer but it was good my comp is a g so i aint worried! we then went to dinner and then had to travel home so nothing new! then we contacted it a fat tone of people and then we had an hour travel time and went to the boonies of our area and the beach part to visit some members and it was lit! then we made our way back home and it was little to no success! 


then at the last part of our week we had 3 non members pull up to the family word which we didn't know were there until we went to dinner haha! thats another story haha then at the YSA ward we had our recent convert John pull up to church and we got his temple recommend and we gave him the aaronic priesthood and got him an appointment to go to the temple this week! then after church we went home and made some calls and then we pulled up at dinner and we met the 3 people that came to church and they had some questions that we were able to answer and they all wanted copies of the book of mormon and we got their number and are getting ready to go over and teach them a lesson! and this week we were literally talking about how we need to go find some people in our family ward that we can bring to church! but aye the lord provides!!


then today we deiced to run it up as a district and we went to top golf and then we went to the mall and then we went to get some pizza so it was good! 


this week i've been really pondering how to teach to build faith in jesus christ and the answer that i've come to learn is that it's not an overnight fix to be like our savior that its a lifelong process and it takes a lot of failure and success and then after all has been said and done we are saved by the sacrifice of jesus christ!

Sweet South Carolina ba ba ba ;)

I finally made it to South Carolina!!  Sorry this email is late. It was Labor day last week so the computer was closed but that's ok now we are back at it and ready to go!!  I left the MTC on the 1st and had to give the hardest goodbye of my whole life to my MTC district. I have been with em for a long time now and they were literally all of my family! I miss em everyday but I know that we are doing the right thing no matter how hard it hurts!! I love them so much and HAWAII 24 is our reunion plan.  Anyway I got on the bus from the MTC to the airport at about 4am and then got on the plane at 8am and flew 6 hours (six hours because of the time change) to Atlanta then had to get on another plane to get to South Carolina. Got off the plane and met my mission president and his wife President and Sister Monson. Then off i went to the mission home spent the night there with all my people i flew in with then the real story began on the 2nd   The next day I woke up at 6...

Week 23 Republicans & Reputations

Yoo what's good?! It's ya boi elder Thomas coming back at ya with another banger week this week! We got some fire stuff to throw down! Let get it!   Tuesday: we had a good day we spent all day in tabor city just knockin doors and takin names you know how it be! We had a good member meal some good spaghetti! And a salmon Alfredo pasta that was so good! So we got the week going good! We found someone today her name is Christine and she has a lot of anxiety soooo... we will see how that goes but hey it always takes a little faith to move a big mountain!   Wednesday: we had our mission zone conference all day didn't get home till about 8:30 so that was an experience haha anyway we learned a lot of great things about the true power of baptism and what it really means to us to put someone on date which you already ya boi is thriving on that one!
