Week 85 YSA Branches & Second Chances

Yo what's good!! How yall doin? It's yalls favorite Elder back at it again with another BANGER this week! So let's get er done!

Hey y'all, this week has absolutely flown by there was a moment where I turned to my companion and said is it really Friday so that's been the story of our week! We started off the week's Strong by having DCM! I absolutely love it here in Charleston and the Lord has prepared people for me to meet down here and one of those being the Charleston district! Hands down this is the best District that I've been able to be a part of since I have started my mission! The spirit it's different down here in Charleston and especially at our weekly DCM meetings! The theme was the atonement of Jesus Christ and it was amazing to see the growth and the unity that is already been shown in the short time that we have been together! Then after that we went door knocking and found a couple people to start teaching so that was a good day!

Then after that we took our recent convert boy John to the temple! For a recent Comfort Temple Night! It was amazing to feel of the spirit and to be back in the temple! When John walked into the doors and put his recommend at the recommend desk and went into the baptistry he was in tears and my companion Elder Roberts had the opportunity to baptize him in the temple and then John turned around and baptized him so that was a cool experience to witness and then in the confirmation room one of the elders that was there with me reporting on the confirmation till John that he was a savior for the people that he did the baptism and Confirmation for and John lost it and that was another moment for me that was confirming that God was with us and that it was an awesome night and then we went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant called Coco's and beer and some member in the back noticed that we were there and without us knowing they paid for all of our food and so it was a good day! And since then our week has just been really good we had a fire lesson with Allison she got excommunicated back in 2018 and has been on the path to rebaptism and coming back into the church! We sat down and talked with her for a while she opened up and told us her story and then we read Alma 29 and talked about repentance and how we can directly access the atonement of Jesus Christ through selfless love! I absolutely love her and she was one of the people that I'm supposed to meet here in Charleston and she has a boyfriend and his name is Will and she said that the spirit opened up to her and that he is going to meet with us next Friday so we can start teaching him! And then to make it all better our friend Dylan church just got back from a trip in Idaho and is on date for baptism for the 23rd of March so he will make his baptismal date and yeah! It's been really cool to see the process of how God prepares his children to receive the Gospel!

TILL NEXT TIME THIS IS YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD UTE FAN SAYING GO UTES AND ILL SEE YALL IN THE NEXT ONE PEACE
