Week 86 Circle K's & God Saves

Yo what's good!! How yall doin? It's yalls favorite Elder back at it again with another BANGER this week! So let's get er done! 


hey y'all, this week has been so good! things have just been vibing down here in charleston! we have been having some success and its been so good to see the growth in the short time that i've been here! this week my boy Dylan Church got baptized! It was so sick to see how the spirit worked in his life to lead him to the font on saturday! Dylan became a member thanks to his girlfriend Sonnet! She is a member and absolutely in love with Dylan! she introduced him to the gospel up on base where they work and before he was baptized he attended church 10 times and met with us for a long while! he accepted it off the bat and it was amazing to see just how much growth he has made in the short time that i've met him! 


this week we also got the opportunity to speak in church for the YSA branch on missionary work and the atonement of jesus christ! it went really good! i gave em a talk that they weren't ready for it haha it was i was told! then after that we got some paperwork filled out for dylan's baptism and then we headed home and i crashed! so funny story Dylan decided that he wanted to be baptized at 9am which isn't a problem for us usually but thing was it that it took 3 hours to fill up the font so in a last ditch effort my comp and i went to the church really late so we could fill up the font halfway and comeback the next morning and continue filling it up but the drain kept moving and the water drained all the way by the time we showed up the next morning anyway! so we had to get to the church at 6am and by some miracle the font was able to fill up in an hour and half! so god is so good! then after that we had our baptism which was awesome and then we went home and prepared our talks for the next day! 


then finally the last thing that happen this week was with our boy Will! so the story goes like this! our friend alison who i met last week or so i told yall about has this guy that she has been dating for a while and he is an awesome guy is what she told us well after our lesson we had with her a while back she sent us a message saying spirit worked will wants to meet with us the next time we meet! so that was this last Friday! so we pull up to the Mt. Pleasant building and it starts poring down rain! they pull up right as we do and we have a good little conversation with him then we got a member from the ward to come and unlock the building for us we sat down and had a spirit led lesson! it was fire! we taught the restoration and it was so good we made the connection that civilizations moved from east to west and so did the bible and the book of mormon! then after the lesson was over he was in tears and told us that he will read the book and when he has questions he will let us know!

Sweet South Carolina ba ba ba ;)

I finally made it to South Carolina!!  Sorry this email is late. It was Labor day last week so the computer was closed but that's ok now we are back at it and ready to go!!  I left the MTC on the 1st and had to give the hardest goodbye of my whole life to my MTC district. I have been with em for a long time now and they were literally all of my family! I miss em everyday but I know that we are doing the right thing no matter how hard it hurts!! I love them so much and HAWAII 24 is our reunion plan.  Anyway I got on the bus from the MTC to the airport at about 4am and then got on the plane at 8am and flew 6 hours (six hours because of the time change) to Atlanta then had to get on another plane to get to South Carolina. Got off the plane and met my mission president and his wife President and Sister Monson. Then off i went to the mission home spent the night there with all my people i flew in with then the real story began on the 2nd   The next day I woke up at 6...

Week 23 Republicans & Reputations

Yoo what's good?! It's ya boi elder Thomas coming back at ya with another banger week this week! We got some fire stuff to throw down! Let get it!   Tuesday: we had a good day we spent all day in tabor city just knockin doors and takin names you know how it be! We had a good member meal some good spaghetti! And a salmon Alfredo pasta that was so good! So we got the week going good! We found someone today her name is Christine and she has a lot of anxiety soooo... we will see how that goes but hey it always takes a little faith to move a big mountain!   Wednesday: we had our mission zone conference all day didn't get home till about 8:30 so that was an experience haha anyway we learned a lot of great things about the true power of baptism and what it really means to us to put someone on date which you already ya boi is thriving on that one!
